Don McCook, Deputy Public Works Director

Don McCook has been employed with the City of Albany since August 15, 1988 when he began work in the Engineering Department as an Engineering Aide. In 1991, he was promoted to Drafting Technician; he held that position for six years until he was promoted to Engineering Associate in 1997.  In 2005, he transferred to the Public Works Department and was promoted to Sewer Division Projects Administrator.  In 2006, he was promoted to Solid Waste General Supervisor; and in 2019, Don was promoted to Street Division Superintendent.   He has served in his current role as Deputy Public Works Director since January 2021.
