Registering Your Account

Albany Utilities offers the convenience of viewing, managing, and paying your utility bill online. To access your account information you must register at the link below.

Click on the secure link: myauportal.albanyga.gov

Once you register you will receive an email that will need to be confirmed prior to completing your registration. Once the email is confirmed you will be able to select the link to bring you to the sign in page. Re-enter your username and password then you will have to enter your account information.

You will need to have a copy of your bill that shows the account number. The account number will be shown as below:

Enter the information into the search account information as seen below along with your service zip code and select continue:

 Once you continue you will be able to view account and pay your bill. All online payments - credit card/debit card or electronic check - are handled through our Milestone Utility Services.  American Express is not accepted.

No fee will be charged. No registration required. To keep costs down, no bill over $5,000.00 can be paid online. You may pay using your credit/debit card or checking/savings account. Your Albany Utilities account number will be needed during the payment process.

Telephone

Credit card, debit card or electronic checks are accepted over the telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call us at (229) 883-8330 or dial Milestone (229) 231-0497. No fee will be charged. No registration required. American Express is not accepted.

Bank Draft

Albany Utilities offers a Bank Draft program for your convenience. Proper identification and a voided check for the bank account is required. The bank draft will be deducted from the bank account on the due date of the bill. Please allow four to six weeks to process.

Payment Locations

Payments can be made at locations listed below:

• 401 Pine Avenue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday - except holidays
• Drive-thru windows located at 401 Pine Avenue.
• Two Night deposit boxes - 
  • One located on the east side of the main building
  • The other located in Drive-thru, Lane 1

Payments can also be made at this local bank:

• Ameris Bank

If making a payment at a local bank, your bill must be paid prior to the due date, to ensure the payment is received on time. You must present utility bill at time of payment.

Payments made after 5 p.m. will not be posted until the next business day.
