Mr. Deal has lived in Albany for 51 years and has been very active in the community.  He served on the Phoebe Hospital Board, was President of the Albany Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Board of the United Way, and served as Chairman of the SunTrust/Truist Bank Board. He also owned Albany Communications, Inc. until 2014, sold the business and then retired in 2016. 

 

Mr. Deal is married to Margaret Calhoun, has a son and a daughter, and has been blessed with two granddaughters. He is also an active member of Porterfield Methodist Church.
