The Network Operations' Security Team, in concert with the broader TAC team, works to secure system and network resources, and to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and information systems utilized by the City of Albany and Dougherty County.  In addition to practicing these three tenets of cybersecurity,  we focus on training users, adhering to industry standard best business practices, and constantly improving our processes and technologies.  The Security Team also employs a multilayered security strategy that focuses on protecting  the organization's network and data. 

The Security Team develops the processes and procedures to identify and mitigate security risks that includes responding to possible security breaches.  The Security Team also defines requirements and baselines for compliance measurements, then conducts audits periodically to ensure the organization is conducting business in a safe and efficient manner.
