Mary Ann Petty
Mary Ann Petty is a native Albanian. She was educated in the Dougherty County School System. On May 29, 1972, she was hired as a Customer Service Records Clerk for the then Water, Gas and Light Commission, which has been restructured and currently renamed; Albany Utilities. She was promoted to Customer Service Records Supervisor in 1976. She was promoted to her current position of Administrative Services Director in 1997.
Ms. Petty current directs the following divisions within Utility Administrations for the Albany Utilities Department: 311 Customer Service Call Center, Administrative Services, Audit Control, Customer Service, Energy Conservation, Mail Room and Tellers.
She has a BS in Business Administration and several additional business related certifications, certificates, diplomas and awards. She is the longest tenured employee employed with the City of Albany, GA.
