Albany Utilities serves 14,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers with natural gas. We buy when prices are low, with the supplier storing the product until it is needed. This insures that our customers pay the lowest possible price for our service.
Albany Utilities gas customers are served by 395 miles of gas mains, 32 regulator stations and 19,000 service lines. The gas department constructs, replaces and maintains gas delivery lines. The department also installs and repairs gas meters.
